Emmy Goes 3D

Emmy Goes 3D

Scott Bryant, founder of Santa Monica, California-based Steam used CINEMA 4D to design the graphics package for the 2009 Creative Arts Emmy Awards show. It was the first time he’d used 3D for the shows motion and broadcast graphics and the results impressed his client so much he was asked to contribute other things, including motion design and 3D elements that were used on the stage and screen.

To create the Emmy statuette, Bryant used a high-resolution model built by 3D artist Joe Paniaqua, which he textured in CINEMA 4D.
