This Blender 3D video demonstrates how to make an image of wine glasses using the cycles render engine. Blender is a free 3D graphics creation program. It is free and open source. Blender version 2.62 was used for this tutorial.

*** Wine glass looks like mirror instead of glass? ***
If your wine glasses looks like a mirror instead of transparent glasses then follow these instructions:
1) Press Esc to exit the render view.
2) Right click on a wine glass to select it.
3) On the menu bar, below the wine glass, “Object Mode” should be selected. Click on this and change it to “Edit Mode.”
4) Press the A key, once or twice, until all of the nodes are orange.
5) On the left side of the display there should be a section titled “Normals.” Click on the “Flip Direction” button.
6) On the menu bar, below the wine glass, “Edit Mode” should be selected. Click on this and change it to “Object Mode.”
7 Right click on the other wine glass to select it and then repeat steps 3 thru 6.
8) On the right side of the display, click the “Image” button to render the image.
