VFX Vlog #7 - Best After Effects Plug-Ins and How To Remove An Object

In today’s VFX vlog I talk about the best plug-ins available for Adobe After Effects and show you how to remove a moving object or actor from your footage!

If you love film making and visual effects, you will inevitably find yourself falling in love with a number of plug-ins for Adobe After Effects or Adobe Premiere. Here are the plug-ins that I personally can’t live without:

Video Copilot Twitch

Create chaos, noise, distortion and other random effects

Video Copilot Optical Flares

Create lens flares of epic proportion. Used all the time in the professional industry, this plug-in allows you to create amazing looking lens flare effects for explosions, lasers and other intense light effects.

Red Giant Color Suite

The Magic Bullet Suite has been broken down into a number of smaller suites. The color suite contains most of the amazing color correction and color grading tools that I love using.

Red Giant Magic Bullet Looks

One of the easiest and most flexible tools for color correction and color grading, Magic Bullet Looks allows you to define a pipeline of color and lens effects to give your footage a cinematic look.

Red Giant – Trapcode Particular

Trapcode Particular is my favourite particle system plug-in for Adobe After Effects. Much more flexible than the inbuilt CC Particle World effect, this plug-in offers lots of advanced particle controls to create cool explosions, smokes, organic shapes and much more.

Here is a detailed discussion on the best plugins for Adobe After Effects that I love to use:

In the second part of the VFX Vlog I show you how to use animated masks to remove any moving object or a moving person cleanly from your footage.
